The Mediation Institute Family Group Conference Facilitator training is delivered as a blended learning program.
Module One: Online Learning which results in a Level 1 – Certificate of Completion – Family Group Conferencing Theory. You have up to 12 months after completing Level 1 to attend a workshop to complete level 2 of the training.
Module Two: Workshop. Successful completion of Module One is required in order to attend the workshop and be issued with a Family Group Conference Facilitator Certificate.
A vocational statement of attainment is issued once you meet the assessment requirements of the qualification.

Generally people who enroll in this course have a social work, dispute resolution, psychology or similar background. Family Group Conference Facilitator Training Workshops are held when we have a group of ten or more people in an area. You may also be able to join or host a hosted workshop.

Hosted Workshop Option
If your organisation or organisations in your area have 10 or more people who you would like to train as Family Group Conference Facilitators you can host a workshop. There is a saving of $300 per person plus a rebate of $150 per person who does not belong to your organisation you allow to participate with your group.
Please note: When hosting you are responsible for all costs associated with travel and accommodation for our facilitator and for venue and catering for the workshop. The minimum workshop fee is $8,900 plus $890 for each additional person your organisation puts in the workshop.
