How to use Zoom

Zoom is one of the world’s most widely-used video conferencing services. It is what we use extensively with Mediation Institute and also to provide client services through our supported not-for-profit Interact Support’s Interact Online mediation service. https://interact.support/interact-online/

The Zoom platform allows users to see and talk to people from anywhere in the world in real time. All you need to use Zoom is:

  • a computer or mobile device with a stable internet connection
  • an internet plan with sufficient data allowance
  • a Zoom account.

We offer a training course in online meeting facilitation but if you are looking for a free quick start to zoom the course from Good Things Foundation should help.

In this course we show you, step-by-step, how to set yourself up on Zoom and start connecting with friends safely and gain confidence as a facilitator to use the tool in your work.

Want some hands on practice? Come along to Techy Tuesdays and have the opportunity to practice your zoom skills and ask any questions you have about anything techy.
