LOA Request

Leave of Absence Request Form

If you need to suspend your AMDRAS Accreditation for a period of time you can use this Leave of Absence Request form to apply for a Leave of Absence (up to 12 months) or a Non-Practicing Certificate (for 2 years)

This process preserves your accreditation history and makes re-instatement easier to manage with all necessary information captured for future reference.

What are the AMDRAS Renewal Requirements?

You can find out more about the renewal requirements on this post – How Do I Keep Track Of My Professional Development?

  • Continuing Professional Development is 25 hours for all levels of Membership
  • Practice Hours are 20 hours for Accredited Mediators and 40 hours for Advanced, Leading and Specialist categories.

Complete the Renewal Application form indicating what your practice hours are and we’ll contact you to discuss your options.

Worst case scenario is you will need to meet the CPD requirements and be re-assessed for accreditation which can be done as part of the AMDRAS Certificate of Assessment Support Package

There are no set practice hour requirements for Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners or Family Group Conference Facilitators.

  • As long as you have met your registration requirements as a FDRP you can retain Practitioner Membership.
  • As long as you are a certified Family Group Conference Facilitator with professional indemnity insurance you can retain Practitioner Membership.
