Leave of Absence and Cancellation Forms
If you do not intend to complete your course you can notify Mediation Institute by completing a Cancellation Form.
Generally, there will be no refund once you have commenced the course unless special circumstances apply.
If you would like to put your course on hold for a period of time, please use the Leave of Absence Form.

- You cancel before enrolment is confirmed (i.e. before payment and course access).
- The course is not delivered by Mediation Institute.
You cancel within 14 days of course access and have not engaged substantially, meaning:
No assessments submitted
No role plays attended
Less than 20% of unit content viewed
A partial refund may apply in these cases, minus the deposit and a 20% administration fee.
- More than 14 days have passed since course access.
- You have engaged substantially with the course (e.g. submitted assessments, participated in role plays, or accessed over 20% of a unit).
- The 24-month enrolment period has expired.
- You fail to submit the required cancellation form.
