Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (CHC81115)

Become a nationally accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) under the Family Law Act. This is the qualification required to issue section 60I certificates and work professionally with separating families.

Duration: Self-paced up to 12 months
Delivery mode: Fully online.

Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution (CHC81115) - Core Units Only

Have a background in law, psychology, or social work? You may only need to complete the core units of the Graduate Diploma of FDR to meet FDRP training requirements.

CHCFAM001 - Work within a Family Law Environment

Learn how to apply family law in practice, collaborate across the system, and improve workplace responses. This online unit covers legal and ethical issues, documentation, and real-life scenarios involving parenting, property, and family safety.

Ideal as a stand-alone course or a first step toward becoming an FDRP.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Already working in family dispute resolution or a related role? RPL lets you gain credit for your existing skills and experience. You may be eligible to fast-track one or more units in the Graduate Diploma of FDR.

Family Group Conference Facilitator Training

Learn to facilitate family-led decision-making meetings in child protection and complex family contexts. This online course includes self-paced learning and 3 live online workshop sessions. Recognised by the NSW Department of Justice for applicants to the FGC Contractor Panel.

National Register of Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners

Check your registration status via the Attorney-General’s FDR Register.
