Training Update: February 2021
Final FGC Workshop for 2020
Message from Joanne,
Kids back at school. Work happening again in whatever is the new COVID normal for 2021 in your part of the country.
Time to get stuck into your course and becoming a dispute resolution professional!
If you have been slow at completing your course please take a bit of time to do your overall learning goal and monthly milestones. Even if you are on track GOAL’s are amazing things. Strongly encouraged. Watch this tutorial to find out why. https://www.mediationinstitute.edu.au/mi-setting-your-2021-learning-goals-guide/
NMAS Students
Welcome to our new NMAS Students in January 2021. Role plays are back in full swing although with a few cancellations or mentoring sessions due to lack of numbers. Even so there were 34 NMAS Role Play sessions in January! That is up from 18 last year.
For those who have just started please get involved in the role plays as soon as you can. Don’t do your theory first. Participate as a role player while you are doing your theory. That will give you the best learning outcomes. The role play scheduler link is in the NMAS Course. Why not book in your February role plays now?
FGC Students
Welcome to our new Family Group Conference Facilitator students joining us for the course and workshop dates in late Feb / March.
Eve will be running a short information session prior to the February Group Supervision so if you are considering doing this course register to attend on the 9th FEB. https://www.mediationinstitute.edu.au/event/fgc-webinar-feb-2021/
If becoming a Family Group Conference Facilitator is on the agenda for 2021 you can find out more here. FGC Certificate Course.

What our students say

Opportunity would be to refresh the role play scenarios but I believe that is happening. Also to update the videos of the role plays, I found these to be very helpful, maybe make them shorter Also I would have liked training on the pre mediation - and I believe that is also coming soon !!! Thanks again, you are all so dedicated and passionate and that made the whole experience enjoyable
