More about Mel

In addition to her accreditation as a professional mediator and further training as a transformative relationship mediation practitioner, Mel has a background in Migration and Refugee law. Mel has had considerable experience working with asylum seekers and has worked for several commercial and community organisations since 2008. Mel has worked on government task forces across the majority of Australia’s Immigration detention centres on the mainland and on Christmas Island which has provided her with substantial experience in dealing with people from ‘Culturally and Linguistically Diverse’ countries and cultures experiencing conflict.
