Leonie Bailey is a NMAS Mediator and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner located in Mt Eliza, VIC.

Leonie Bailey’s role as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP), accredited with the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department, allows her to help people make better decisions about their future. Leonie holds a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) and post graduate Family Dispute Resolution qualification along with her National Accreditation as a Mediator. With these formal qualifications, she also has many years’ experience in family law, mediation, business management and governance.
The use of her multi-disciplinary skills and experience, both in life and the law, give Leonie a solid grounding to support clients while they negotiate the best outcome for their individual family situation, whether that involves complex children’s issues or intricate property matters.
The focus of Leonie’s practice is working with clients who prioritise their children and want to resolve their separation in a fair and equitable manner – people who don’t want to destroy everything that they’ve built in life.
Having always worked in client service, as a Director of Stellan Mediation, Leonie is committed to ensuring the firm delivers value and service to those they assist. Client satisfaction is the centre piece of her practice.

Since 2008 Leonie has been working not only in Victoria, but in the Pilbara in Western Australia and in the Northern Territory. Her skills have been applied to complex mediations in remote and difficult areas of Australia, often with multiple parties. The professional and personal experience gained in these arenas, is one that few people are able to claim.
When she is not assisting clients, Leonie loves spending time with her amazing kids and grandchildren, and pursues her hobby, photography. Sunday mornings drinking chai latte (she says it must be ‘wet leaf’ and not ‘powdered’) with friends is a time she gets to relax and just enjoy being herself.
