Core Units CHC81115 Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution

This course allows you to apply for registration as a Family Dispute Practitioner with the Australian Attorney Generals Department if you have other specified qualifications or are a NMAS Accredited Mediator.  If you don’t have one of the specified qualifications, we recommend that you do the full CHC81115 – Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution Course.

This course has prerequisites. You must complete an application and meet the requirements before your enrolment can be processed.

You will not be invoiced until your enrollment is confirmed.

We offer an interest-free payment plan unless a business pays for the course. Businesses are welcome to pay in full upfront if they would like, but the staff member must be eligible to enrol.

Core Units Only

This is the option to complete the six core units from the CHC81115 – Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution.  The full qualification has 10 units.
The advice from the Attorney Generals’ Department is that the core units course is equivalent to the courses offered by higher education providers.

Work Placement

Our course requires that you complete 50 hours of work placement with real clients under the supervision of one or more Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners. We do not regard role-plays as replacing the 50 hours of work placement. You will work with a minimum of five families and generally between 5 and 10 families during your work placement.

You can organise your own work placement, or we can organise it for you for an additional fee.
