It was such a busy day today with the end of financial year that it was all hands on deck and in our case all paws on deck as well.
Bruce, our dingo lookalike Kelpie, lived up to his working dog reputation!
He’s looking a bit uncomfortable at being told to sit for the photo but was a great help running paperwork between my office an Paul’s as we scrambled to get payments made by end of business for the financial year!

The UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principles. Presented by Dr Virginia Marshall. Tuesday 28 June 2022. The preamble of UNDRIP gives recognition to the right of Indigenous families and communities to retain shared responsibility for the upbringing, training, education and well-being of their children, consistent with the rights of the child. Articles 7(2) and 8(2)(d) affirms that Indigenous peoples shall not be subjected to forcible removal of children and that States shall provide effective mechanisms for the prevention of, and redress for any form of forced assimilation or integration.

The NMAS Review has been completed and now is in the implementation phase as the Mediator Standards Board works on the changes to the National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS) flowing from the review.
