About the role
Mackillop Family Services are currently seeking to appoint two Senior Investigations Officers. These new roles will be a part of the newly developed Investigations Team in our Practice Quality Unit and will be responsible for screening, planning and conducting high quality investigations into allegations against employees, carers, volunteers, contractors and clients of abuse, neglect, poor quality of care, misconduct and reportable conduct.
Based in South Melbourne, the successful applicant will be required to travel throughout Metro Melbourne, Barwon and on occasion to Regional areas of Victoria. Both roles are full-time or with an option for 0.8 part-time.
About you
The successful applicants will have demonstrated experience in undertaking complex investigations, ideally with experience in the forensic interviewing of alleged victims and witnesses. Additionally you will have excellent consultation, communication, interpersonal and dispute resolution skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others, negotiate and exercise influence. Critically, you will also be able to understand and apply the principles of natural justice and procedural fairness in conducting investigations.
