Learn how to deliver safe & high quality care beyond compliance
Throughout 2020 – 2021 there were 1,044,851 incidents reported to the NDIS with 99% of those incidents being concerned with the unauthorised use of restrictive practices.
Against the backdrop of the ongoing Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability, and the ongoing challenges posed by COVID, service providers are under more pressure than ever. With new practice standards and amended quality indicators coming into effect, providers need to ensure their services are not only compliant but also delivering high quality, person-centred care.
In addition to this, service providers are also facing challenges around increased reporting, incident management and trying to navigate dignity of risk, consumer choice and supported decision making.
At the Improving Quality and Safety in the NDIS Conference you will learn how to equip your organisation with the knowledge and tools to navigate these critical issues and drive continuous quality and compliance improvements. You will have the opportunity to learn from other service providers, the Commission, auditors, academics and consumers within the sector to hear practical insights and strategies to help you to deliver safe and high quality care into the future.
