FDR Property Pre-Mediation What and Why?

In this session, we will focus on Property Pre-Mediation with a specific look at the specific aspects of Property FDR that differ from parenting matters, such as full disclosure, assets and liabilities, visualising offers etc. We will look at the main steps in property pre-mediation in detail, including:

Safety with a particular focus on financial abuse and coercive control

Suitability – are the parties financially literate? How bad are power imbalances?

Informed Consent – do they know what to expect?

Preparation for full disclosure and equitable agreements.
