Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, much of how we conduct our professional and personal lives has moved online. This necessity has required many of us to rethink, refocus and relearn the way we communicate. Mediators are no different: currently, mediators are being trained online and many more mediations are conducted online than before the crisis. What has been the impact of this? What are the platforms best suited to mediations? How have we needed to change our communication styles? Has it been successful? Is it the way of the future and, if so, how do we incorporate online mediation into existing practices? These are just some of the questions that will be discussed in this interactive ‘online’ seminar.
