A conversation about child inclusive practice
18 September @ 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm AEST
Last webinar we had for our Family Group Conference Facilitators brought up some interesting points about the synergies and potential to collaborate more between Family Group Conference Facilitators and Child Contact Service Providers and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners.
Those FDR Practitioners who have completed additional training to provide child inclusive practice also have two different approaches that are being taught. Some are being encouraged to be the mediator and the child inclusive practitioner. Others see this as two separate role.
Purpose of the Web Meeting
The purpose of the meeting is to have a conversation about how we can improve the work to bring children’s voices into the room when their parents are making life changing decisions about them.
Who should attend?
We’d like to have a range of professionals who provide appropriate dispute resolution services including:
- Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners
- Family Group Conference Facilitators
- Family Counsellors
- Child Contact Supervisors
- Family Lawyers
- Child Inclusive Practitioners
- Others who have an interest in the discussion including ADR students
